What are the qualifications to apply?
We welcome anyone with a technical background and an interest in startups to apply. Our program is designed for those with 0-3 years of experience, including students who are close to graduating. Is this program paid?
No, it is absolutely free. Our mission is to change the default path of ambitious graduates in Belgium and connect you to Belgian startups.
How long does the graduate program take?
Our selection process typically takes around 3-4 weeks from the initial application to the matchmaking event with our partner startups.
When is the first event?
We host multiple events throughout the year, with specific dates and locations announced on our website and social media channels. The first event will take place at the begining of July.
Is it possible to select multiple startups to proceed with the recruitment process?
Of course! We encourage candidates to select multiple startups that they’re interested in continuing the recruitment process with. At the end of every event, we guide you through the next steps of their individual recruitment process and even advise you in your decision making. So don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

What kind of profiles can we expect during the events?
Our selected candidate pool is made up of talented young graduates with a maximum of 3 years of experience and background in various technical fields, such as engineering, computer science, and mathematics. But what they all have in common is a passion for working in the startup world!
What are the benefits of becoming a partner of Startups Connect?
By partnering with us, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the most promising young professionals in the industry. We continue to support our graduates even after the program, when they start their job with one of the startups. In the first 18 months, we follow up on their careers and help the startups identify any challenges the young grads may be facing, to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
What does it cost to become a partner with you?
It’s completely free to become a partner and get to know our talented graduates. We only ask for a small fee, which is at least 5 times lower than the industry standard, if you decide to hire one of our candidates. We keep our fees as low as possible because our mission is to be accessible to startups at all stages of growth.
How well are the candidates screened?
Our selection process involves three stages, each of which is designed to identify the best candidates for our partner startups. We involve individuals with technical and business expertise to help us screen candidates based on both their technical skills and interpersonal qualities. We also provide our partner startups with valuable insights into each candidate to help them make the best hiring decisions.
